Ali'i Border Collies

Ali'i Border Collies is devoted to celebrating and preserving the Border Collie. We operate a small breeding program in Los Altos, California with the goal of producing healthy, happy pets while preserving both the intelligence and versatility for which this breed is renown. Our puppies have gone on to train and compete in conformation, herding, obedience and agility events. Our dogs are an important parts of our lives; they do not live in kennels, but in our house as parts of our family. Each puppy that is born in our home is carefully socialized and cared for so it can become as loved and important to its family as our dogs are to us.

Kaena

Kaena is a beautiful black and white bitch out of Australian import lines. Kaena received her confirmation championship in 2001 and has gone on to produce two outstanding litters, including CH Ali'i Wizards Black Magik, CH Castlewalk Sheena, CH Ali'i Face Off At Marquee, and CH Ali'i Cymric Black Ty Affair.

Kaena is the grand dam of CH Ali'i Cymric Sassy Margarita, CH Ali'i Cymric Royal Panda, and CH Marquee Rumor Has It. Kaena is also the great-grand dam of Thunder.

Kaena was our first border collie and continues to be a cherished member of our family.

Jake

Jake is a stunning 6-year old dog from Kaena's first litter. Jake received his confirmation championship in 2003, finishing from the puppy class. Jake is enjoying his retirement from the show ring and has happily forgotten most of what he learned in obedience class.

Thunder

Thunder is the newest addition to our family. I didn't mean to get another puppy just yet, but Thunder was too cute to not to keep. Look for Thunder in the show ring in 2009. In the meantime, Thunder will be busy entertaining our kids. :)
